GABA from Biomore is unique in its kind: It is a natural form of Gamma-aminobutyric acid (and not synthetic). It is produced by Lactobacillus hilgardii (a bacterium that fermentes vegetables). This amino acid functions in the brain as a neurotransmitter.
Bio-GABA has a good absorption in the brain (the synthetic version does not!), an effect is achieved via absorption in the enteric nervous system (communication between brain and nervous system of the digestive system).
The standard GABA you find on the market is synthetic and is much less effective then this biological product as this product passes the blood – brain barrier in the body. In addition, Bio-GABA has no harmful substances (synthetic GABA contains at least 0.4% pyrrolidinone, this substance is banned in Japan).
